Missions Outreach

The Outreach Committee works with all the members of St. John’s in spreading the Word of God and the Good News of salvation through Jesus Christ’s sacrifice for all people. Special activities include greeters for Sunday Worship, visiting with local guest(s) of our church, conducting media campaigns for community awareness, training and equipping everyone at St. John’s to be aware of the opportunities for spreading Jesus’ love to everyone in their day-to-day life.

If you are interested in working with outreach, please contact Pastor Bettermann or the church office at 277-6391

Evangelism

At St. John’s we are intensely interested in and deeply committed to sharing the Good News of Jesus. To that end, we are currently developing strategies to effectively reach out to our community.
In addition, our worship life is designed to be Christ centered, grace filled and joyful, built around our certainty that God shares His life changing gifts with us through His Word and Sacraments.

Our Worship Times Are: 8:00 am and 10:30 am each Sunday while Sunday School for children through adults takes place at 9:15 am each Sunday morning between the services.

AA

Alcoholics Anonymous® is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength, and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking. There are no dues or fees for AA membership; we are self-supporting through our own contributions. AA is not allied with any sect, denomination, politics, organization, or institution; does not wish to engage in any controversy, neither endorses nor opposes any causes. Our primary purpose is to stay sober and help other alcoholics to achieve sobriety.
